The open plan living area is the perfect place to sit back and relax. On cold evenings enjoy all the benefits of underfloor heating and a wood burning stove as you curl up on the large sofa in front of the TV. In the summer months, this comfy haven is a lovely, cool setting for family gatherings and an ideal area for planning the next day exploring North Devon.
The other half of the open plan living area is where guests can rustle up meals in the well-equipped kitchen or sit down for a meal at the character pine table, which comfortably seats up to four. The kitchen has a good range of appliances such as a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, a fridge/freezer, an oven, an induction hob and a coffee machine.
The beautifully decorated Master Bedroom has a king-size double bed and benefits from direct access to a paved terrace area - a great place for evening drinks when the children are in bed. The Master Bedroom also has an en-suite shower room, featuring a shower with large fixed head and optional height adjustable shower on a rail, there is also a towel rail with timer button, a WC and a wash-basin.
Perfect for either adults or children is the good sized second bedroom, which features two full size single beds. Like the Master Bedroom the twin room is finished to a very high standard and has USB sockets.
Please note the two single beds are not zip and link beds, however, on request they can be pushed together and a super-king size duvet put over the top, in this case the bottom sheets will remain as single fitted sheets.

The family bathroom is fitted with a large walk-in shower that has a fixed shower head and the option for a rainwater shower, as well as a lower shower head on a rail. There is also a wash-basin, a WC, an electric towel warmer and a demisting mirror.

Courtyard Cottage has four separate outdoor seating areas to choose from, meaning there is always the chance to relax in the sun, whether it is with your morning coffee or evening meal. Amongst the terraces there are two tables and six chairs. One of the best places to take in the sounds of the countryside is on the raised terrace.
If guests need storage for bikes or surfboards they are welcome to use the onsite garage, there is also access to an outside tap and hose.
Please note Courtyard Cottage may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the number of steps and slopes around the grounds. There is one step inside the property leading from the kitchen to the twin bedroom and family bathroom.
